Langtang Valley Trek.

The Langtang Valley is a beautiful alpine region situated to the North of Kathmandu bordering Tibet. It is popular due to its snow-covered peaks, a mild climate and friendly and hospitable inhabitants. The area was recognized as Nepal's first Himalayan National Park in 1971. The land of Tamangs, Langtang is rich in its age-old religious practices, language and costume. A journey to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers. The trek is easily accessible from Kathmandu. The majestic mountains of Langtang Lirung (7246m) to the north, Gang Chhenpo (6388m) to the south and Dorje Lhakpa (6990m) to the east dominate the beautiful Langtang valley. The trek passes through lush forest and the unique settlements of diverse ethnic groups.

Trip Cost includes:
* All airport/hotel transfers

* An experienced English-speaking trek leader (trekking guide), assistant trek leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and Sherpa porters to carry luggage (2 trekkers:1 porter) including their salary, insurance, equipment, flight, food and lodging
* All necessary paper work and permits (National park permit, TIMS )
* A comprehensive medical kit

Trip Cost does not include:
* Nepal Visa fee (bring small denomination USD cash and two passport photographs)
* International airfare.
* Excess baggage charges.
* Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu(and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary).
* Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
* Travel and rescue insurance.
* Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, extra porters, bottled or boiled water, etc).
* Tips for guides and porters.

Note: All participants have to give a copy of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses paid by Nepal Assemble Treks for your helicopter rescue or research. Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.

In The trek the guide is allowed to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and the physical condition of participants. Each participant who stop his trek or make changes any form of program may not ask any money compensation to the agency.



Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - 1,300m/4,264 ft
You will be welcomed by the boss of the company at Tribhuvan International Airport .After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our company display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel. After check in, you will visit our office, meet your trekking guide as well as other participants. Later in the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent Tourist Restaurant where you will enjoy with a fine meal.

Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing.
We will be visiting  of the famous heritage sites in Kathmandu.
Morning, we will start from your hotel by a morning walk in the blocked alleyways of Kathmandu. Your first contact with the smiling Nepalese people. We begin to cross the nice area of Thamel, full of nice shops, bars and restaurants. We will see during this walk many temples and stupas: it will be for you the beginning of religious lessons, making the difference between Buddhists stupas and Hindu temples. You will discover with a great surprise how these two religions live together. We will make a stop at Thahiti Tole, then in front of Kathesimbhu stupa. Always meeting statues and local shops (suits, spices, incenses, and so on) and listening the noise of bells (and of horns), we will see Asan Tole with wonderful Hindu temples. Then Indra Chowk and Pyaphal Tole. After 2 hours of walk and of wonder, we will arrive at Durbar Square. All the most important monuments of the city are in this area. You will be filled with wonder by all these numerous such majestic and so ancient temples registered in the Heritage of the UNESCO. It is possible to spend hours, sat on the walk of one of these monuments, admiring architecture, considering the animation of places, dreaming.
We will take lunch at the top of a restaurant, with a great plunging view.
Afternoon, You will begin the afternoon by another walk in the streets of Kathmandu, to look at the real face of this city, with local buildings and narrow streets. Then we will arrive at Swayambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). It is said that Swayambunath Stupa is more than 2,000 years old, and it symbolizes knowledge. At the summit of this hill, the painted eyes on all four sides symbolize the all-seeing power of Buddha. It is an important Buddhist place where pilgrims from all over the world come. From this place we can have a wonderful panoramic view on all the capital. So great at the end of the day, with the Sunset. We will come back hotel by bus. Evening: Time for you to prepare the trek and we introduce in front of you our crew members. Dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi.
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft). Today,After morning breakfast we drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmandu. Enjoy the Himlayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. Take Lunch at the Trishuli Bazaar before continuing further to  Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descent down to Syabrubesi. Which takes approximately seven  hours drive. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel.
After breakfast trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft). This is our first day of trekking today.  Follow the Langtang Khola River. Pass through the dense forests.   Cross several suspension bridges. We also pass by a tea houses.  The trail goes up and down but it's not that challenging. It takes six hours walk.
Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang village.
Morning have breakfast after, Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m/11,253ft). This day, we embark our second day of the journey. Our trail continues along dense forests. After making a steady climb up through the valley, we leave the tree line behind us. Enjoy the marvelous views of Langtang Lirung.  Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. It takes six hours walk.Overnight at Teahouse.

Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gumba.
After breakfast trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gumba (3,870m/12,697ft).Today, we get out of the village and pass on through yak pastures.  Also pass the largest Mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. The prayers written on the mani wall is supposed to be blown away by the wind.  Cross several of the wooden bridges.  Since, we are really getting into the high altitudes; you might start feeling the thin air. Gumba. Kanjin Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas all around. You can take a walk around Kanjin Gompa enjoying the views, glaciers, icefalls, birds and yaks. This takes three hours walk. Overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel.   
Morning after breakfast trek back from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft). This day, proceed to Lama Hotel. Since, it's mostly downhill, it would take 4/ 5 hours walk from Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. The trail goes all the way down hill through forest following the river. Pass through the ethnic Tamang settlements who follow religious and cultural practices similar to the Tibetans. It takes time five hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi.
After breakfast Trek came back continues from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft).Today, we trek down to Syabrubensi. Enjoy the easy trail mostly downhill through lush green vegetation. Arriving Syabrubesi, we take our lunch. Which takes five hours walk.Overnight Guesthouse.

Day 09: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu.
Today after breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. it takes approximately seven hours. Afternoon, We move to patan Durbar square (world heritage site).There we explore the art of malla period and culture of Newari people.Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Kathmandu sightseeing shopping.
Morning, after breakfast, we will take you to visit Pashupatinath; this temple lies in world heritage sites, which is very famous among Hindu all over the world. One can view the ritually burning of death body in Hindu culture. After Pashupatinath, we will walk for another world heritage site. The name is Boudhanath. During this walkway we can see deferent lifestyle and developing city.30 minutes after finally we arrived Boudhanath. Boudhanath: This is also another world heritage sites  in Kathmandu, Where one can see the Tibetan settlement and their culture, It is being home for thousands of Tibetan refugees. Millions of Buddhist people visit this place every year.
Lunch at Boudhanath with mysterious view of Boudha Stupa as a such wonderful eyes looking you, it’s really you will feel such a heaven.
Afternoon, its quiet relax able time for you before your last destination. so, it  is  time for your shopping. You can buy different souvenirs for your family and friends in Boudhanath, come back in Thamel and if you wish other local market.
Evening, we will provide farewell dinner with our crew members. Overnight stay at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 11:  Last day of Yours Trip.
You'll be transferred to the Airport before 2 hours of flight with nice farewell. You'll never forget the trek of Wonderful country. And have plan for next time visit.
